Once Demarcus has left the lab and is out of earshot, Rath informs Rico, "He neglected to mention that Dr. Tobia is not alone in that lab. What he said is misleading. Whether he did so intentionally or just didn't consider it important to mention whomever the other person is, I don't know. Be wary."

"I always am. But thanks for the warning." Rico then turns his attention to the two astromechs. "You two, go to the X-wing parked outside and finish making it spaceflight-worthy. Do you have any programming preventing you from carrying out my orders?"

Rico's command to the astromechs is met with a flurry of beeps which he understands as a confirmation they had received and would comply with the order.

Rico gathers up all the loose disks and other items that he can stuff in his pack, before heading over to look at the other lab, weapon at the ready and senses alert.

Rico's care pays off as he notices the gun port at the end of the hall. He takes aim at a figure barely visible behind the opening and fires.

Using advantages to activate crit, not that it matters because the target took 13 points. Even a fully armored stormtrooper would have taken 12 points after soak (thanks to 4 pierce). Unless the target is a stormtrooper sergeant (a rival with 15WT) he should go down.

The figure disappears from sight and Rico cautiously moves forward keeping his weapon aimed at the port should the figure reappear. Reaching the end he is able to peer through to see the figure lying motionless on the far side of the wall. The door to the left of the hallway is shut, but the lock was badly damaged from the blast and is no longer functional. A gentle push opens the door revealing a mirror image opening to the other side. The sound-proof door on this balcony is open and Rico hears the sounds of crashing from inside the lab.

Rico rushes down the stairs into a basic lab similar to the one he just left. Five 3PX droids are assisting a single researcher in destroying everything. Rico quickly aims and fires a powerful stun bolt into the researcher.

The closest droid rushes towards Rico carrying a large metal pipe. It swings wildly, but awkwardly, completely missing the intended target.

Rico flicks the selector on his rifle to 'auto' and sprays lethal crimson bolts across the havoc-wreaking droids, starting with the closest droid that hasn't (yet) turned to face the Rebel intruder.

The targeted droid collapses and the three next to him turn and attack Rico, each holding an improvised weapon of one type of lab equipment or another. Two of the droids swing wildly while a third, wielding a dismembered 3PX-series leg, connects solidly with Rico, but the leg bounces off his armor.

The first droid moves forward to attack Rico again who moves slightly to avoid the attack exposing himself for a moment to the other droids.

Rico ignores the bruise he received from the two droids, but is distracted enough that it throws his aim off and the stream of blaster bolts from his weapon stitches a line of fire harmlessly over the droids' heads.

Dammit, Orokos continues to screw me over. I finally get enough adds to invoke autofire and I don't get the success to hit in the first place!
I'll use the advantages to gain +1 melee defense until the end of my next turn (which is in effect for your attacks for the rest of this turn and the top of the next one).

I forgot the weapon's +1 advantage on my last attack, which should have been a total of 4 adds. Used 3 for the melee defense, and the 4th gets passed as a boost to this attack...

I'll use the 3 adds (I get the 3rd from one of the gun's attachments) to renew the melee defense +1
13 points is another kill. One droid at the bottom of the turn, and the other droid at the top. Enough of this BS.

Time for these droids to die. Even if I have to take them out one at a time. I'm done waiting for f'ing Orokos to play fair.

Rico shoves the muzzle of his weapon against the chest of the last droid and pulls the trigger, blasting the droid across the lab where it lands as a sparking, smoking pile of scrap.

As the blaster fire fades, Rico takes a moment to look around the room. The lab has been completely ransacked. Droid parts lay in dismembered piles and data-disks lie on the ground shattered. Two data-pads are in the room though they too have been badly damaged.

The group moves systematically from building to building clearing out any remaining imperial resistance. Finding none they make quick work of loading everything they can into the Big Bantha. Most of it was easy, but collecting all the parts of geetoo proved a bit of a hassle as well as relocating the prized plexus droid. Once loaded Rath sedates each of the prisoners, seven in total keeping them unconscious for the flight. Rico Tasha, and Rob start placing explosives throughout the compound. As the Bantha lifts up the group blows the base and moves to re-acquire their captured speeder bikes. Rath orders a detour to collect the stranded imperials at the bomb range. During the fight however indicator lights flicker on showing that the Bantha's life support can not support the large number of passengers. Rico working with the imperial Astromech bypasses the life supports safety features and increases the output temporarily.

Collecting the three stranded imperials went easy as they had not yet managed to free themselves from their bonds. They too were sedated by Rath once loaded on to the Big Bantha. The ship escorted by the four liberated star-fighters lifted into the atmosphere and begin moving away from the planet. While still extreme distance to a safe jump distance the sensors on all five craft begins to light up with warning of ships exiting hyperspace.

The sensors on the Big Bantha identify the ships quickly. Six TIE Hunters and a Lambda shuttle drop out of hyperspace. One group of TIEs immediately accelerates, turning towards you.
