To reiterate, none of the uniforms you acquired have officer's insignia. OTOH, a trooper is a 'flunky' when compared to an NCO, especially a senior NCO, and all six uniforms taken from the techs in the control room had various grades of NCO insignia.

Noted. V'Jax claimed all 3 'nades. Please update your sheet to reflect having an E-11 rifle (instead of a Stormtrooper One carbine) and the stormtrooper armor.

I voted we keep everything!

Furthermore, we have a newly captured base to operate, so barring whatever happens in the next mission, I see these as our objectives:

Find continual source of income; we'll need some way to pay for supplies and pay salaries.
Resupply base / arrange for continual delivery of supplies.
Staff base - mechanics, soldiers, and specialists for the intel device
Arm base - coincides with resupply
Buff base defenses - it was super easy for us, a motley crew, to take the base in the first place, we need to do something to ensure a counter attack won't be as easy. We need both small scale, IE anti-infiltration team, and large scale, IE air support.

Understood. Still, I'd wager that a charismatic NCO can still look impressive to civilians and having a trooper to order around will give a limited air of authority.

This sounds like a job for Alliance Command and Engineering to me. :) We're a strike team, don't need to set up long term logistics for a permanent base. We just need to hold long enough for the higher ups to reinforce. That's half the fun of being a member of a larger army/organization; we don't have to transform from commandos into quartermasters.

I posted IC about what Telle took...just a vibroknife. Forgot to edit the character sheet. Will do so now.

Also I had Telle packing some canteens and rations on the speeders for emergency trips.

Wrong assumption. Caiden brought new orders for the strike team, which happen to say, in short, "to set up long term logistics for Whisper Base".

Had the players chosen to skip this adventure then an engineering team would have been brought in. But, seeing as the team is already on-planet they're being re-tasked to make the base useful to the Alliance. If it makes you feel better, consider it a combination of jungle training and extended-duration "behind the lines" ops. The Rebels are short-handed, and you just got a lesson in what that means for spec ops guys at the sharp end.
