Silus's father is a brilliant engineer employed by the Corellian Engineering Corporation. He is also an alcoholic who blames Silus for the death of his wife and frequently beat his son. The younger Silus blamed himself for these beatings, believing that he had somehow failed his father. At school he used to deliberately pick fights with the older students in order to hide the bruises from his father, but the resulting reputation as a fighter further enraged his father who began to view the boy as a disapointment unworthy to carry on his legacy. Finally, when he was only sixteen, Silus had enough. While his father was at work, the young Rodian stole his credit chip and booked passage with the first ship heading off world. To the best of his knowledge, his father has never tried to look for him.

Unfortunately, this ship offworld was so affordable because it was crewed by Trandoshan slavers bound for Nal Hutta. Silus was robbed, beaten, and thrown in the cargo hold with his fellow slaves. Yet unlike his peers, Silus was used to oppression. Rather than accept the pitiful treatment from the Trandoshans, Silus began to threaten and abuse his fellow slaves until he recieved their share of food and supplies. When they finally arrived on Nal Hutta, after a number of stops for "supplies," Silus remained healthy and strong while many of his companions had died on the trip. This impressed Yonta the Hutt who promptly purchased the Rodian.

Yonta saw potential in Silus and had him trained as an enforcer, taking advantage of the Rodian's natural aggression and willingness to inflict pain. After a few years of employment, Silus saved up enough credits to purchase his freedom. Pleased at his pupil's initiative, Yonta generously allowed Silus to keep his equipment. Indeed, he went further and offered Silus passage to Ryloth--a bustling hub of business far from Yonta's own interests. Yonta stressed that this was a gift, nothing more than the kind, loyal patronage of a simple Hutt. Nothing was expected in return, although if Silus's actions happened to disrupt other Hutt lords or led to openings in the Ryloth market that Yonta could exploit, he certainly hoped that his Rodian friend would be kind enough to inform his former master.

Appearance: Silus is short, even for a Rodian, but broad shouldered and powerfully built. He carries himself with the swagger of a teenager who has killed many times and not, yet, been injured.

Height: 1.5 Meters
Build: Muscular
Hair: --
Eyes: Black

Personality: Silus has long since accepted that the galaxy is a bad place, but that it can be survived by being even badder. He likes to enjoy life to its fullest and frequently wastes his credits from each job on fine food, Alderaanian brandy, and women. He has no qualms about injuring others, generally believing that it's better to kill than be killed.

Novelty: Silus is driven to experience new sensations and activities. If he's going to die, he may as well enjoy all that the galaxy can offer first.

Favor 10
Silus was taken in as a child by Yonta the Hutt, where he was trained and, eventually, outfitted at the Hutt's whims. Now an independent operator, Silus still owes Yonta for that initial "kindness."

Bounty 10
Silus thought that he'd left his father behind, but it turns out that the engineer isn't willing to let his son or stolen credits go without a fight.
