Ouch. I'm guessing that you've been macho-ing it and didn't go get it treated/stitched up?

Here's your roll, to save you the trouble:
Negotiation check: 3eP+1eA+1eB+1eC+2eD+1eS 4 successes, 2 threat
ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
Price each is 1,869 credits, and you can have 8 of them (a squad's worth).

I had to get it cauterized, not deep enough for stitches but it wouldn't stop bleeding, had to go to ER.
Give me several minutes after posting, my post will probably have some minor edits done it.

OK, the ship is out of easy spending money, correct? Since I had asked for them when I was running Jonafi, so the payment would presumably be from him or ship funds.

The ship has plenty of funds. The 8 guns are taken care of.

OK. The armor too, we had looked for that and i don't think that I ever rolled to find it.

Vacuum seals. Dune did look for those and failed, so I'll do it again. Since vacuum seals are rarity 3, the Outer rim bumps them up to 5. Dune's talent only lowers it by 1, and 4 is still 2eD, so:
Negotiation to find vacuum seals: 3eP+1eA+1eB+2eD 1 success, 3 advantage

The vacuum seals didn't require a check in the first place. Those painkillers you're on must be messing with your head. :P

Ah, ok.

What was it that I failed to find back on the station, then?

Was it the complete suits of new armor?

I honestly don't remember. I also don't recall you wanting any whole suits. Since you're here on Dac, you should start fresh and (re)consider the entire FFG equipment list (given that FFG releases a new book every few months) and see if there's some item you've overlooked or weren't able to get before.

I'll browse through books and get up a list tomorrow. Since swrider is busy right now, it won't slow things down too much.

What does the Slicing Computer do, from Special Modifications? What does the Appraiser's Eye do, from Fly Casual?

The Eye is a bit of cybernetics, that gives you an auto 1 advantage on Negotiation and Streetwise checks when haggling. There is no "slicing computer" in SM (or anywhere else that I can find).

Huh, OK, the http://swrpg.viluppo.net/ said there was one, I was curious.

I'm gonna look for the eye:
Negotiation to find eye: 3eP+1eA+1eB+4eD 3 failures, 1 advantage
ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

DArn,I don't find it :( Well, I don't think there's anything else I want, other than that eye.

Several weeks ago I downloaded every page from that site and saved them to PDFs, so that I can view the site offline if I have to. I just rechecked the live site, just to be sure. Can't find it. If you see it, please take a screenshot of it and post it for me (a large enough one that I can read the text in the image, please).

That's not personal gear, that's a ship item. No wonder I couldn't find it, I wasn't looking at the right type of item. Sneaky *******.

Base Modifiers: Counts as slicer gear that can be used by one passenger. Add automatic Image to Computers checks made to slice enemy ships' systems (see page 237 of the Edge of the Empire Core Rulebook).
Modification Options: 2 Innate Talent (Codebreaker) Mods. 1 Innate Talent (Defensive Slicing) Mod.

If I could find an INT boosting mod for my Astromech, that might be useful.

Negotiation to find slicing computer: 3eP+1eA+1eB+4eD 5 successes, 2 threat, 1 Triumph
ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

And for the INT cybernetich tech? Was that effectively what I rolled for looking for a memory upgrade, or are those two different things?

Yes, that INT cybertech is what you failed to find.

You find a slicing computer, though I don't see why you'd want to chew up your YT's last CHP with that instead of some other 1-point upgrade. But it's your ship, not mine.

I just want to have one :P

Not installing it yet. *shrugs*. Figure I should grab things now that I have a chance rather than wait till later.

Dune will probably also look for Falsified Credentials (Desperate Allies p.51), or at least someone who can make them.

What's the difference between a comm scrambler and comm jammer, don't have my core rulebook on me at the moment?

Your expert at all things shifty, Varsk, manages to secure false credentials for Dune, for 800 credits.
Spoiler:
Streetwise: 3eP+1eA+1eB+3eD 2 successes
ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

A comm scrambler encrypts outgoing comm transmissions that you wish to send. A jammer just blasts everything within range with white noise.

I'll roll to try to get a comm jammer, might be useful in illicit dealings and stuff.

Yeah, Xorliss doesn't need anything, Dune couldn't find what he wanted, and Killiri has little cash since he loaned it to the ship.

If you need more cash for Killiri (reduce the loan amount), just say so.

Nah. I honestly don't know what to buy him. Cybernetich upgrades are not something he'd be comfortable with, after the Clone Wars, and that's about it for anything he can use at the moment.
