"I'll stop by the bank and pick up supplies while you're out." MidDen (once again back in her suit) offers as Ari starts to head off with the security officer. Leaving Eckhol to handle any of the repairs he might feel are necessary, the Ugar wandered off into town to restock the ship and see what could be seen in the short time they would be there.

A warrior's shrine

Postby DeepSpacer » Mon Jun 13, 2016 5:09 pm

Making himself aware of the appropriate return time, Hardnox will begin to exit the port and visit a surrounding area. "I shall return at the appropriate time," He assures those still at the port. "I will briefly survey this planet they call Mandalore."

Dressed in his armor and carrying his weapons on his back, he will approach the first city official (perhaps a port official) or armed combatant he sees and query in the most charming manner he can manage, "I have been told that Mandalore is the home to many great warriors. I wish to visit the shrine of a great Mandalorian warrior."
Spoiler:
Charm on Mandalore: 1eA 1 success

Perhaps the GM will allow a Boost die for his warrior-like appearance when considering the difficulty of his check. GM can decide between Simple, Easy, etc...

The hours pass by as the crew go about their individual business. Your guests have departed from the ship blending into the local environment as they reconnect with the rebellion ... all that is except Owyn, who stayed behind to help survey the damage to the ship and take up the offer to join the crew. As the sun fades from the sky and the hour approaches to meet with your contact the crew gathers back together at the Cherenkov Blue. A lone figure comes out from the shadows and approaches the group. Ari instantly recognizes him as the guard from before. Guard: "Follow me," he says as he walks into the city. Entering into a mass transit speeder the group moves into the corporate sector of the world stopping before a large building with a corporate logo emblazoned on the side. Entering the building you pass quickly through security and are escorted to the executive suite on the top floor. Guard: "This is the headquarters of the company for which you transported the ore. They will take care of MidDen's legal issues here. Your broker will also be present to complete the transaction they are your contact with us and will assist you with the rest of your reward."

The group enters a large conference room with chairs seated around a central table. The walls are ornately decorated and several small statues of various figures line the walls between paintings hung along the wall. The paintings and figures to the left seem to illustrate a brief history of Mandalore while those along the right illustrate the history of the company. A large set of double doors are directly behind the far end of the table and a tray with various beverages and glasses has been placed in the middle. The doors swing shut behind you with your guide telling you to make yourselves comfortable. After a few minutes the doors at the far side open and a tall humanoid enters the room with a shorter but stocky human following. The second human begins to speak: "My clients have completed their part of this transaction now it is your turn." The tall humanoid you now understand to be the corporate head hands him a briefcase with credsticks in it. "This is for you," he says before raising a device in his hand and bringing up a view screen. The local bounty hunters' board appears showing pictures of MidDen, as well as the Mandalorian police bulletins. A few more clicks and the word "deleted" appears on the police board, while "Records not available" appears on the bounty hunter side. "Welcome back to Mandalore, MidDen. May I advise that you not frequent our capital museums ... they still remember your last visit" Looking around the room he reaches for another briefcase. "This was not part of our agreement so consider it a sign-on bonus," he slides the case onto the table opening it to reveal 10,000 credits. We want you to deal with our pirate issue and to continue making the ore shipment each month.

Ari replies, "As a signing bonus, ten thousand is ... acceptable. Three questions. First, what will you pay us, monthly, to make the ore deliveries? Second, what is the elimination of your pirate problem worth? Finally, our ship was damaged while confronting these pirates. We would like for you to cover the costs of repair, both current and any that we may incur in the course of our business with you."

"I'm Financario Galactico, you must be the Captain..." he leaves off for a moment as Ari answers with her name. "We would be happy to pay for the repairs to your ship as well as any which occur chasing the pirates. Your monthly compensation will be 15,000 credits plus fuel and related expenses. The contract will be ongoing for as long as you maintain good standing with the planet and are able to land. Our last crew had to be terminated after some imperial entanglements.

"You will have access to our security office and chief security officer Fuerza Delta. She will provide you with what information we have on the pirates." As he finishes speaking an attractive looking female enters the room. A stoic look on her face and blaster attached to her side identify her as the aforementioned Fuerza.
