During character creation, "Species" is replaced with "Home World". These selections represent the environment you character grew up in, and the kinds of talents and base abilities required to get by in those conditions. Note that the home world title refers to the "stereotype" of that world, many worlds could support multiple types of person. Scintilla, for example, would be a death world in the wastes, A hive world in the lower and mid-hive, civilized in the upper hive, nobility in the spires, forge world from gunmetal city or void-born in the many commercial and military stations in orbit.

Note: All home worlds gain 100 starting experience

Death World

[td]Wounds 11
Strain 11

Survivor: Remove 1 black from checks caused by environmental effects akin to the person's home world.


Hive World

Caves of Steel: Remove 1 black from checks to navigate or move in urban environments or conditions.
One among Millions: Gain the Indistinguishable talent.

Void Adapted: Remove 1 black on personal actions caused by low, micro or shifting gravity.

Idle Pursuits: Gain one rank in two separate non-career skills.
