Story
Hass was a senior weapons designer for BlasTech during the Clone Wars. With the rise of the Empire, and its harsh humanocentric policies, he knew that there was no place for him in the New Order. When the Empire took direct control of the company facilities on Coruscant, he fled to the Outer Rim, eventually finding work with Kolvo Weapons Manufacturing on Nar Shaddaa. The Smuggler's Moon was not nice place, but it was far from the Empire, and the pay was acceptable. He could lose himself in his work, and try not to think of what the Hutts, and their slavers and bounty hunters, did with the weapons he created.

Nearly twenty years passed before he could no longer turn a blind eye to what he was enabling. He quietly put out feelers looking for someone who could take him off-world, without asking too many questions.
