I've always liked the YT-1930. As far as looks go, it's my favorite out of all the CEC-designed light freighters. Too bad they aren't in production yet in 19 BBY.

The 1930 and 2000 both predate the 2400. While in Legends the 2400 didn't come out until sometime during the time period of Star Wars Rebels (just a few years before Rogue One), in this Infinity the intro date has been pushed back to 20 BBY.

1930 has always been one of my favorites.

Edit: There's a fan made deck plan for a very similar ship. Only the two rear cargo areas are square and slightly raised. I think it's called the venture. That is one of my favorite ships. I ignore the part about it's cockpit being a separate shuttle.

I see no need for everyone to keep waiting on me to approve one of Darzil's backstories. As far as this initial battle is concerned, the droid's backstory very likely won't come into play during the first turn or two.

All players please roll initiative and post it here. For the Jedi, it's a Cool check. For the non-Jedi it's Vigilance. I'll be unlocking the IC thread today, once I have everyone's inits — and once Darzil has rolled for Jaico's weapon mods. So please get that done ASAP.

In case you folks hadn't noticed it, there is a "Whose turn is it?" post that will track the party's status at all times. Please keep an eye on that post as it will be changing frequently, as soon as players or the GM take actions. (Well, as soon as I get around to updating, truth be told, though I'm pretty good about it.)

Yes, more or less, insofar as wounding or strain (exhaustion). Diseases and poisons are another matter.

Depends on what you mean by "get to the ship". That's vague. You are at medium range from Jaico, and from the bottom of the boarding ramp. Getting inside the ship would be 1 maneuver in addition to getting to the ramp itself (which from medium is 1, per RAW).

No. I did that for the group already to save time. The status post is up to date. The are 4 PC slots before any of the droids get to do nasty things to the party. The IC is unlocked. Game on, have fun!

I'll go ahead and go. Ren will move twice, suffering two strain for the second maneuver to close the distance. Then he'll use Influence on the Human in front of him to give him a strong urge to help us escape. "Help us escape. Get us away from Coruscant."

Okay, first item: using Force powers against a PC is always an opposed check. In this case it would be a Charm check by Ren resisted by Jaico's Cool or Charm. So it's a GGPP check (2eA+2eD on Orokos), in addition to expending a FP.

Secondly, I don't permit players to manipulate other players' characters using skills or Force powers. You can roleplay asking for help, but you cannot dictate what the other players' character will do via dice. This renders item #1 moot.

Lastly, the OOC is for discussing what players are considering doing. Posting your actions is done in the IC thread. Please review other games on this board to see how it's done if you're unfamiliar with how it works.

That concludes the public comments I needed to make. Ahrimon, I've sent you a PM regarding a serious problem with your character sheet.

In the other PBP I am in, we have generally posted what we wanted to do in OOC, been told if it is allowed or requires a roll and if so the difficulty. We then roll, post the results, and find out what happens. When this is done, we update the IC with a narrative story that encompasses the whole turn.

Are we to post in IC first?
